The International Scheme attracts fees as follows

 1.  A fee for performing the actual accreditation or re accreditation :-

• Pre-course assessment, reviewing documentation
• Course assessment on site
• Travel and accommodation as relevant
• Expenses, taxis, meals if relevant
• Follow-up action, providing certification etc
• A membership fee per annum
• A fee per certificate issued (once only)

Note: All new and re-accreditations will require a site visit to the provider. NI will try to manage these costs down for the client by using best value travel fares reflecting NI travel policies, local accreditors and / or managing travel to potentially capture a number of clients during the same tour.

The NI will maintain a perpetual database of all certificates issued for validation by authorised third parties on request e.g. employers, agencies , authorities. 

The following Table 1 gives an indication of the current charges; however the actual amount charged will reflect the actual resource utilised

Note: Courses added by a centre already accredited will incur a fee of 0.5 man day per additional course
